BAD ADS does not use ad networks, advertising cookies, or third-party trackers. There is no analytics product and no ad pixel on this site. This page lists only the storage the game actually uses. The privacy policy says what we do with that information.
Save and device ID. The first time you play, the browser keeps a random device ID with your guest save in its local storage. It counts Daily tries, checks scores and reward codes, and stops abuse. It isn't tied to your name or email. Clearing the site's data gives you a new ID and a fresh guest save. If you sign in, that save can also be stored with your account (see the privacy policy).
Gameplay events. The same anonymous events described on the privacy policy (a run started or ended, a fight or mini-game finished, a card pick, how long the first tap took) are sent with that device ID so we can balance the game. They are not a third-party tracker and they contain no names or emails.
Playing does not require an account. If you sign in, our sign-in library sets first-party session cookies on badads.lol so the browser stays signed in. Their names are __Host-grok-auth.session_token, __Host-grok-auth.session_data, __Host-grok-auth.account_data, and __Host-grok-auth.dont_remember. They are Secure, SameSite=Lax, and limited to this site. Signing out or deleting your account clears the session. We don't use them to advertise.
“Continue with X” sends you to X to approve sign-in. X sets its own cookies on X's domain for that sign-in. We receive the account details described in the privacy policy (X user ID, display name, username, profile picture, and email if X shares it). We never post to X, read your posts, or add an X pixel.
Card payments open Stripe Checkout. Stripe sets cookies on Stripe's domain to take the payment and prevent fraud. We never see or store your card number. We keep the purchase record described in the privacy policy (what you bought, the price, paid or refunded, and Stripe's reference IDs). Stripe is not used for ads.
Vercel hosts the site and Neon runs the database. We do not turn on Vercel Analytics, Speed Insights, or any other analytics or advertising product. Neon does not set a cookie in your browser.
You can play without signing in or paying, and then the only storage is the guest save on this device. You can clear that in your browser's site data. Questions: support@otechlabs.io.
